General Information

This is an art-based collaboration which will involve Maplestory illustrations based on Vocaloid songs and music videos. Applications will be limited to one person per song, and a certain character can only appear as the main focus of an illustration up to 5 times. Since Vocaloid videos often have several characters in them, you can add characters other than the ones you listed in your application as long as they are not the main focus of your illustration.

The illustrations should be half-body to full-body, with at least a simple background. (examples here)

• Applications: April 24th ~ June 27th

• Deadline: July 10th

Please inform us as soon as possible if you think you won't be able to hand in your submission on time!

Specifics

​

• Canvas size: 1920 x 1080 (width x height)

• Resolution: 150 dpi

• File format: PSD + PNG

  • Since we are planning to make an animated video ​like last year's collab, please submit a layered PSD with EACH character/background/misc. objects separated, as well as a PNG file of the full piece.

• Chibis are allowed if they suit the chosen song, but full body illustrations are preferred. ​

• No NSFW please! This means intense gore or suggestive/sexual content.

• No tracing the original video! Your completed work may be based on a song, but we will not allow traces.

• You are allowed to have the same character(s) and song combination as last year's collab, as long as the composition is different.

• Please do not add text to your piece.
